I started working as a preschool teacher assistant at the age of 16. It was a part time gig I picked up after school during my last 2 years of high school. Unfortunately, that preschool shut down due to the owner selling it. I quickly got a job as a preschool teacher at a different private preschool where I stayed for 5 years. There I took courses and trainings to enforce my knowledge about getting 3-5 year olds ready for kinder. I left due to medical issues and needed a job that provided benefits for me. That job is where I am currently at now. I am the secretary for an elementary school where I am still surrounded by kids!
