More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have worked in childcare as a preschool teacher for 3 years with ages 0-10 months - 3-5 years old. So that’s pretty much my specialty. I’ve been a nanny for 2 differently families and the rest of the time I was working in a daycare setting and babysitting on the side. I love children and caring for them has been the most fulfilling job I have ever had. And if my kiddos have ever learned anything from me I believe it would be how to be silly sometimes and how to be kind. I also have an up to date resume and references to send if interested.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love arts and crafts. Painting, coloring, and drawing. I also love listening to music and cooking with my kiddos.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Making sure that I’m making a positive impact on the children that I care for. I believe all of the individuals who cared for me as a child played a huge role in who I am today. Their values and how they helped raised me definitely left a positive mark. And I aim to do the same with the kiddos I care for ❤️.
My experience with special needs children...
Autistic and non verbal children. One of my students from my old daycare was autistic and non verbal. His mom loved me as his teacher and asked if I could babysit occasionally. So as soon as I clocked out I’d pack him up, take him home, and stay with him until mom got home. I worked closely with his speech therapist and did nightly routines like bath time, meal prep, etc.
