A little bit about me

I have cared for children of all ages since I was 13 years old, when I started my first babysitting job. I have gone on to work in Day Care with children ages 2 months to 12 years old. I worked as a babysitter and nanny for several families throughout my twenties. I was also a co-parent to my nephew from the time he was 2-8 years old.
My most recent employment was as a Direct Care Staff at a group home for foster youth ages 12-18 years old. After two years there, I was promoted to Live-in House Manager of a transitional group home for young adults 18-21 years old.
I also have over 10 years of experience working in the medical field as an EMT, Care Giver, Medication Manager, Phlebotomist, Medical Assistant, and Rehab Technician. I have current CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications as well as experience working with kids with ASD and have been trained in Crisis Prevention and Intervention.
