I am an 18-year-old, soon to be 19, with years of childcare experience, having babysat for family members and neighborhood families since I was 10. I’m comfortable caring for children ages one and older, and I truly enjoy creating a safe, engaging, and positive environment for kids. I will be starting cosmetology school in December, so I am seeking an evening position—typically from 6 p.m. until needed. Babysitting has always been something I’ve loved, which is why becoming a nanny feels like a natural next step. I’m responsible, playful, and trustworthy, and I’m very comfortable helping children follow their usual routines, including bedtime, meals, and daily structure. I love planning fun activities like sensory crafts, reading together, and baking. The most important part about being a nanny...

For me, the most important part of being a nanny is keeping children safe while also making them feel comfortable, understood, and supported. I believe that building trust with both the child and the parents creates a strong foundation for quality care. I always aim to create a positive and fun environment where children can learn, grow, and feel confident. Whether I’m helping them follow their daily routines, planning activities, or simply being a calming presence, my goal is to ensure they feel safe, happy, and cared for at all times.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite part of being a nanny has been teaching and watching children get excited about learning something new. One of my favorite memories is with a family I babysit for regularly. Every week, the boys would ask me to teach them Spanish, and they looked forward to receiving 10–15 new spelling words. They loved challenging themselves to learn how to write each word, pronounce it correctly, understand its meaning, and use it in a sentence. Seeing how motivated they were and how proud they felt by the end of the week made those moments incredibly special to me. Teaching them and watching their confidence grow is truly one of the most rewarding parts of being a nanny.
