Ive mostly just worked for family members (aunts and uncles) and I have lots of experience in taking care of 1 day old newborns- 15 year olds
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I like to do crafting activities (coloring books, friends ship bracelets, or slime) with the kids that I babysit, or play games that get them active like hide and seek or just dance, go noodle, or little games that get their minds thinking but in a fun way like legos, puzzles, or even word searches.
The most important part about being a nanny...
To me making the parents feel like they can relax when you are with their kid(s) is such a great things and for the kids to feel like you are a new best friend or someone they can trust, or feel comfortable around is the goal for me.
My experience with special needs children...
I do not have any experience with special needs kids as far as I know, but I am very patient and I would simply love to learn how to take care of kids that learn a different way.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moment is when they finally warm up to me and start to act like their selves, it’s truly a beautiful moment that I love love love to experience.
