Hello, I have about 10 years of experience working with children of all ages from infant to 11. years old. I worked as a children’s ministry teacher at my church From the age of 12-20. I started off in the infant and toddler room. Then moved up to k-5th.some requirements for being a children ministry teacher is planning lessons and activities like games and arts and crafts that relates to the lesson, as well as sitting in small group and helping/educating the children to better understand the lesson. . I am good at cooking, cleaning, changing diapers. I am very patient. I am very resilient. I am very understanding. I also currently work as a caregiver for adults with with intellectual disabilities. some requirements of that job is cooking meals for the clients. helping clients bathe and change. helping clients with everyday activities. Planning outings for the clients. Setting up doctors appointments for the clients. My favorite part of that job is interacting with them.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Some activities they love doing with children are lots and lots of arts and crafts. I like to build with Legos. I like to do puzzles I love the park. Going to the movies is always fun. Going to an entertainment center is fun. Places like the zoo or the aquarium would be a great activity to do with children

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think the most important part about childcare. Period. Is number one the safety for the children, but also creating a trusting bond with not only the child but also the parent.

My experience with special needs children...

I’ve worked with a couple special-needs children when I worked as a children’s ministry teacher. But I also work with adult adults with special needs. So there are some similarities. Iv also volunteered to help special need individuals with schoolwork in high school. It was called the best buddies club and we would hang out with individuals with intellectual disabilities. Sometimes we’d help them with their schoolwork. Sometimes we just have fun activities to do with them sometimes we just hang out. I’ve also volunteered in a community group called Capernaum that is based off of hanging out with intellectuals with mental disabilities things like that is we do fun activities with them we talk about a lesson with them and we pray then we catch up and we eat a snack and call it a day.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I will say my favorite moment as a child childcare teacher was when we just got to see the goofy parts the children and see how big their imagination can get.
