A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Everette and I am a current student nurse-midwife at Yale School of Nursing. I have 10 years of babysitting experience for all ages, and specialize in newborn and postpartum care. I am looking to work with local families on a regular basis over my next 3 years in school, and I offer both daytime and overnight support.

Before starting graduate school this August, I lived in Guatemala where I worked as a home birth midwifery apprentice and assisted many families through prenatal, labor, birth, and postpartum periods. I later trained in/taught prenatal and postpartum yoga, co-facilitated a weekly gardening project for children ages 5-13, and assisted in a program providing age-appropriate sexual education in secondary schools in Chiapas, Mexico. I am fluent in Spanish.
