I worked in a Kids Club at a country club for about a year as well as some nanny work for 2 families the year following that. I also worked as a teachers assistant for second and fifth grade when I was in high school!

In a program I participated in "Ready, Set, Teach", a quarter of our class was special needs and I got the opportunity to get the individual time to go over class material with them almost every day!
The most important part about being a nanny...
One special nannying moment for me, was when me and the 2 grade school boys I nannied went to the grocery store and bought some carrots to feed to the donkeys right across the street. It was so special seeing how they connected with the animals and how their faces lit up when they took the carrots from their hands.
