I love getting kids active the outdoor activities are endless. I like to build ferry houses and forts with the kids, playing tag, running around on a playground, making mud pies, building sandcastles in the sand. For indoor activities I found that kids really enjoy painting, getting creative with blocks, dance parties, and lots of reading.

At the daycare I worked at immediately bonded with a little girl with special needs. She would follow me around all day and we became the very best of friends. It felt so good and rewarding that she felt comfortable around me and I also built a very good relationship with her mother.

It is definitely hard to narrow it down to just one moment but I was teaching this little boy how to spell his name and he was having a tricky time writing a lowercase a but when he finally got it the excitement on his face was priceless!
