A year ago I was a tutor at Otay Ranch HS for three years for students from ELD (English Language Development). Also, when I went to Holland for three months I had to take care of my two cousins, a real challenge when the culture and traditions are so different to ours.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I am an "indoors" person, one of my hobbies is drawing, and I loved playing board games with my brothers, using our imagination to create adventures. I also like going out for a walk or maybe play some sports. Going outside from time to time is necessary for a child to clear their minds, sweat a little bit and waste some energy. It also helps to rest better at night.

The most important part about being a nanny...

There was one time my cousins didn't want to eat and just keep playing, so I thought about a game that I used to play with my brothers when we were hungry. I played as I cat and my cousins as mice, and they had to eat all the food without making any noise before I catch them, so I played as I was looking for them and when they finished I acted like I finally found them and I started chasing them. Finally "we" got tired, they fell asleep on the couch and I carried them to their beds. It was really fun.
