Communication. Communication is very important not only to my personal relationships but to the parents & children as well. While keeping tidy and scheduling also plays a part, none of that can be done properly without proper communication. I would say the same applies as well when taking into consideration of my relationship to the child to improve how they feel about me overall!

When I babysat four kids with varied ages.. we all decided to play Uno together after baking cookies to snack on. The youngest won every single time without knowing properly how to play. Although everyone lost, no one was mad. They begged me to bring Uno every other night after that. :)
