A little bit about us…
We have a daughter named Madeline (pronounced like mad-uh-LINE, like the French girl in the book/cartoon) born in October of 2022. She loves Ms Rachel and Mickey Mouse clubhouse, Eric Carle books, books with flaps, bubbles, coloring, and running back and forth. She has a very good vocabulary for her age. We have regular child care from my parents and part time nanny but need someone additional for date nights and last minute days when my husband's work schedule changes suddenly or our Plan A and Plan B child care fails. Responsibilities would be to keep my daughter safe, play with her, prepare her meals, and age appropriate activities and learning. It would be helpful if someone could put her clothes away after we wash them (this won't be a regular task, just one that is helpful to us if it needs done) and clean her dishes and cups. If we need you during her bedtime (for a date night), we routinely pick up her toys at the end of the night so they aren't scattered all over. I would expect the same from the care giver. It's important to us to have someone with a flexible schedule, as some of our needs may be last minute (most won't be last minute but we've been stranded on the child care front a couple of time since she's been born). Date nights will be scheduled ahead of time with planning and don't necessarily have to be a certain day or time. We hope you love our spunky, cheerful, little nugget. We also have a dog, Dunkel, who loves anyone that gives him treats or pets him long enough to get belly rubs. He is 65lbs but is a gentle soul that still plays like a puppy at times.
