Hi I'm Fiona and I have more than 10 years of experience in childcare. I am a mature, responsible, reliable and cheerful person with excellent childcare and interpersonal skills and extensive experience as a live-out/live-in nanny. I simply love children, love caring for them and find them fascinating, and I am seeking further nanny work to continue doing what I love and broadening my experience. I have experience in providing on-going care to children of different ages, track record of assuming total responsibility of home in absence of parents and very skilled in managing hostile behavior of children in a polite manner. My absolute Favorite part of being a nanny Is the ability to be apart of that child's development There is nothing more rewarding than watching a child grow and progress while in my care. The fact that I am with the child for a significant amount of the day makes me realize I largely influence them and can impact their lives
It is a huge responsibility but also an honor and a privilege

The most important part about being a nanny...

There is nothing that can compare to the look on a curious child's face when something intrigues them. The focus and concentration when a little one realizes they have feet or that they can roll or reach for things they want is inspiring. Seriously. Hand a munchkin a cardboard box and you have an hour of play. My boys and I go out on the porch and just listen to birds sing. They're sponges and are literally learning every moment. And i get to facilitate. How dope is that?!
