When I was younger my sisters were born, since my parents were often busy at work it would often fall on me to help take care of them. It wasn’t easy but even when I was younger I was good at taking care of them. To this day I still help take of them but since they are older I don’t have to give them as much attention as I had to before.

Obviously it’s the safety and happiness of the child. There’s definitely a hard balance of how much fun is too much how much safety is too much but if you know what you’re doing then it’s not a hard balance to find.
My experience with special needs children...
While my experience isn’t as vast as others I still have spent some time with them. I’ve had classmates in my classes who I had to interact with who were special needs and I’ve been out and about and got opportunities to talk to them. Those experiences opened my eyes to how much we tend to push them aside and how we need to approach caring for them with patience and kindness.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My father hasn’t lived at home in a few years so I in a way filled that role. I hadn’t realized that I did until earlier this year on father’s day my sisters had talked about saying happy father’s day to me. It brought a smile to me when I was told about it.
