My relevant experience comes from more than 13 years as a professional nanny, during which I have also served as an early-learning guide and developmental support for newborns, twins, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-aged children. I have supported school readiness, language development, fine and gross motor skills, emotional regulation, age-appropriate learning activities, and healthy daily routines. I am also a mother, which has further strengthened my understanding of children’s developmental and emotional needs.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy planning age-appropriate indoor and outdoor activities that are fun, educational, and support each child’s development. Indoors, I organize arts and crafts, painting, coloring, tracing, puzzles, building blocks, sensory bins, Play-Doh, music and movement, reading, storytelling, pretend play, simple cooking projects, and games involving letters, numbers, colors, shapes, and matching. These activities strengthen fine motor skills, creativity, language development, concentration, problem-solving, and school readiness.
Outdoors, I enjoy nature walks, playground visits, swimming and water play, ball games, obstacle courses, scavenger hunts, gardening, scooter and bicycle practice, running, jumping, climbing, and visits to parks, libraries, museums, zoos, and age-appropriate classes. These experiences promote gross motor development, coordination, confidence, curiosity, social skills, independence, and a healthy, active lifestyle. I adapt every activity to the children’s ages.

My favorite nanny moment is not just one moment—I celebrate every step in a child’s life. I celebrate when a baby reaches for a toy during tummy time, learns to hold a spoon or bottle, crawls, takes their first steps, or blows out their first birthday candle. I celebrate when a child overcomes a fear, transitions from diapers to the potty, or returns from their first day of school excited to tell me everything. I treasure watching a child progress from struggling to say a word to speaking in complete sentences and expressing themselves confidently. I love helping children strengthen difficult areas and become capable and independent. From preschool to kindergarten and first grade, I celebrate every new stage, school event, and field trip. I value every tear cried on my shoulder, every comforting hug, every laugh, and every moment of trust. No accomplishment is ever too small, because every milestone represents growth and courage.
