A little bit about me

I love children and would love to spend more time caring for them as well as learning from them. I have always felt like I bond really easily with children. I currently am not in school and would be able to provide my full undivided attention to any family I am nannying for. Though I have never held an offcial nanny position I have taken care of children on and off since I was about 8 years old. I started off helping my mother as she cared for others (at home and in our church) and soon I progressed to solo babysitting gigs and being a lead teacher in my churches nursery . Since then I have also mentored young girls while I was in high school through my cheer leading program.

I volunteered for a couple years at a church nursery during their services. I also volunteered at a daycare center for a week. I have also spent lots of time babysitting my nieces.

Some activities I love doing with kids would include crafts of all kinds and lots of outdoor activities. I would love to stargaze, show them the constellations, go on hikes, teach them about nature, etc.

I think the most important part of being a nanny is not taking over the roll as a parent but simply helping where the parents cannot or need an extra hand.
