More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

i was assistant manager for my aunts art business where i taught kids ages 2-14+ how to make art! it was a huge learning curve and i cared for 10+ kids at one time.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

-i’m a figure skater so i would love (if old enough & with parents permission) to take the kids with me sometime!
-hiking/taking walks
-any outdoor games

My experience with special needs children...

i have a 6 y/o nephew who is autistic/has a sensory processing disorder. i babysit him and his 2 y/o sister regularly and have been since he was 4. i understand how special needs children will process certain things much differently than others and will need a guide to get them through tough times! my nephew has trouble saying why he’s upset and usually just gets angry so we’re working on using our words and ways to deal with the anger without hurting himself or someone else :)
