I’ve been taking care of kids for most of my life, starting with my two younger brothers. I’ve helped my stepmom with everything from making meals and cleaning up to keeping them entertained and comforted when they’re upset. I also have experience caring for younger cousins and family friends’ children, so I’m very familiar with the needs and routines of kids of different ages. These experiences have made me confident, patient, and prepared for just about anything when it comes to childcare.

I love keeping kids active and creative! I enjoy doing arts and crafts, playing educational games, reading books together, and spending time outside when the weather’s nice — whether it’s going to the park, drawing with sidewalk chalk, or organizing little scavenger hunts. I also like helping with simple learning activities like counting, letters, and practicing reading. I always aim to make sure kids are having fun while also learning and feeling supported.

I think the most important part of being a nanny is helping children feel safe, supported, and loved, while also guiding them to grow. I believe it’s important for kids to have fun and enjoy being kids, but also to learn along the way, whether it’s learning how to express their feelings, take care of themselves, or become more independent. A great nanny doesn’t just watch children , they help shape the kind of people they’ll grow up to be.
My experience with special needs children...
Growing up, my neighbor had a child with special needs, and I spent a lot of time around him, helping whenever I could. Being part of his world taught me so much about patience, empathy, and the importance of truly listening to a child’s needs. That experience shaped how I care for all children — with extra kindness, understanding, and respect for their unique personalities and challenges.

One of my favorite caregiving moments was helping my younger brother learn to tie his shoes. He was so frustrated at first, but I stayed patient and kept encouraging him. When he finally got it on his own, the smile on his face made me feel so proud. Moments like that remind me how meaningful it is to help kids grow and feel confident.
