I ran a kids camp at PAWS (Pets Are Worth Saving) Chicago to teach young children ages 5 & up about responsible pet handling.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love going to the park/playground and love that Florida lets us do that year round! I am a huge fan of the aquarium and the zoo, I have a yearly pass for Lowry Park Zoo! The beach is my happy place, there's no better way to spend the day than building sandcastles or searching for shells. I also love to cook and to bake and think it is such a fun activity to do with a little one. I am always up for any Arts & Crafts challenge and fondly recall that form of creativity as one of the most fond memories of being a kid.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I grew up with a full time nanny who was with me from the time I was a newborn all the way through middle school. Today I call her my nana and she is one of the most loving & nurturing people I have in my life. I consider myself so lucky to have grown up with her in my life and I want to pay it forward.

Whether it be caring for them when they're sick or just keeping an eye on them while their parents run errands, children are always a joy to be around. I adore pets as well and wouldn't mind caring for them either. I am 20 and turn 21 in august and have my own way of transportation, so I have absolutely no problem with getting the kids to any doctors appointments, extra curricular activities, school or just go on a drive when the kids have trouble sleeping at nap time. I was licensed in Florida and have had my license for almost 3 years (I’ll hit the 3 year mark on February 25th). I have cared for about 7 children in the past 4 years and still care for them when requested which lead to forming strong family like bonds with not only the children but their parents as well.
