Hi! My name is Gia and I am looking for nanny jobs around the Lynchburg area! As I’m finding time to do the things that I love to do in life, I thought babysitting would be a good fit for me because I have always been good with kids and it is a way that I can heal a part of my inner child! I’m trustworthy, reliable, and responsible. I want to be able to not only have fun with the children but show them how to be a leader and the importance of respect, right, and wrong. Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I worked at a daycare called The Caterpiller Clubhouse as a teacher aid. During my teen year’s I’ve had experience with watching children within my family a lot.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to dance and what child doesn’t want to get up and move! So dancing is an activity that I love to do with children! I also love to color with the children and read books to them. Going outside and getting fresh air is a big thing for me so taking the children to the park or just outside the house to play is a must for me and it is something that I absolutely enjoy because getting fresh air is important. During the colder months I understand that outside time is very limited, so watching movies and or different show that the kids watch is something that I also enjoy doing with them.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part to me about being a nanny is showing them how to be a leader. When o had got the idea to start working with children I told myself I am going into this showing children what is right from wrong and to be fair when do things. The importance of respect is a big thing for me because children grow up doing things from what they see and are taught from home. I just really want the children to look back at this experience or take with them as me being there nanny to be a leader and being respectful but also making sure they are being respected as well as the go through out their life.
