A little bit about me

Hello! I am currently a nursing student with a minor in childhood studies. I love working with children and have been doing so since I was a child myself! I am looking for a summer nanny position that would start the first week of May and end the last week of August. I am very fun, outgoing, loving, caring and active person. I love sports and crafts! I always like to keep the kids occupied with doing different activities that are not only fun to do but also educational. I would love to get to know more about your family and hopefully I can have the privilege of caring for your children!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I volunteered with young children ages 6-8 for softball and basketball training. It was really a great experience and I was able to connect with the children on a personal level. I did this volunteer work for 3 years when I was in Highschool.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

When it’s a rainy day I love to do arts and crafts with the kids. It gives them the opportunity to express themselves while having fun with it! I also enjoy playing games such as hide and seek and even making games up!
Outdoor activities that I usually enjoy doing with the children and different sports. Whether it is playing with a ball or playing a real game of baseball, I believe being active is the best way for children to have fun and release some energy! I also enjoy playing tag, riding bikes and going for walks.

The most important part about being a nanny...

The most important part about being a nanny, for me, is to obviously care for them as much as they need but also to make a connection with the children. I want them to feel comfortable around me and I want them to truly be themselves. Without that connection I feel as though the child will not trust the nanny to the full extent.
