More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Relevant experience where I have also cared for children includes babysitting for families with infants and young children, where I was responsible for daily routines such as feeding, diaper changes, playtime, naps, and bedtime. I’ve also supported children in engaging, age-appropriate activities like reading, arts and crafts, outdoor play, and simple learning exercises to help with development and structure.

In addition, I’ve gained experience being attentive to each child’s individual needs, keeping a safe and nurturing environment, and building strong, trusting relationships with both the children and their families. I always aim to be patient, reliable, and fully present while caring for kids.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love doing fun, engaging activities with kids and creating a safe environment where they can learn and have fun at the same time. Some of my favorite activities include painting, arts and crafts, sensory play, reading books, and doing learning activities that help with creativity and development. I also love spending time outdoors with kids, whether that’s playing outside, going on walks, doing outdoor water activities, bubbles, sidewalk chalk, or just keeping them active and entertained.

I enjoy involving children in simple cooking and baking activities too, like decorating cookies, making snacks, or helping prepare easy meals, because it’s such a fun way for them to learn and build confidence. I always try to make the time I spend with children both fun and meaningful while making sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and supported.

The most important part about being a nanny...

For me, the most important part of being a nanny is building a real connection with the child I’m caring for. It’s not something that can be measured or replaced by pay—it’s about trust, comfort, and creating a strong bond where the child feels safe, understood, and happy.

I genuinely believe the best care comes from having a meaningful relationship with the child, where they feel comfortable being themselves and know they’re supported. I focus on getting to know their personality, what makes them laugh, what helps them feel calm, and what they enjoy doing each day.

Money is never the main motivation for me. What matters most is showing up consistently, being present, and creating a positive environment where the child can grow, learn, and feel cared for. To me, that connection is what makes the job truly special and rewarding.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I bought my little one a pool today and watching him go swimming was seriously the cutest thing ever. He was so excited the second he saw the water and had the biggest smile on his face the entire time. Watching him splash around, laugh, and have so much fun honestly made my whole day.

It’s such a sweet feeling getting to see little moments like that and watching kids experience things with so much excitement and happiness. He was completely entertained just playing in the water, and seeing how confident and comfortable he got as time went on was adorable. Definitely one of those moments that makes your heart melt and reminds you how special the little things are.
