I am currently an Early Childhood Educator, with extensive work with infants, toddlers, 3-4’s and 4-5’s. Along with this, I have babysat for different families before, with ages ranging from 1-12.
I also completed a two year vocational preschool where I earned my CDA, as well as completing my First Aid and CPR certifications.
In my own family, I have many younger nieces and nephews, including 3 year old twin nieces and a 5 month old niece, whom I regularly watch and take care of.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
During the warmer months, I love to prioritize spending as much time as possible outside. It is so important for children to spend time in fresh air and get their bodies moving. Some activities I like to do are scavenger hunts, playing in the sprinkler, drawing with chalk, or even just going on a walk.
As it gets colder, spending time outside is important as well, so I like to bundle up and go build snowmen with the kids! If it is too cold, typically I like to read stories, make small sensory bins, painting with different items, and making an indoor obstacle course! (We always clean up after ourselves!)

The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny, in my opinion, is bonding and forming connections with not only the children, but the families as well. It is SO important for there to be trust between the nannie’s and the families.
My experience with special needs children...
While I have not had explicit training with special needs children, some children that I have worked with have been diagnosed with Autism.
