Hello! My name is Cade Jones, Im 20 years old, and I am currently a Junior at Okstate! I have pretty much been babysitting since I was 15 years old for neighbors and then kids from my daycare! All these kid's ages have ranged from newborn to pre-teens! I have worked at a church nursery, a Naval youth program back in VA, Goddard school in OKC, and I have interned with a church in Houstin with their middle school program! My family just officially moved here from VA where I regulary babysat for many families and I truly miss just working with Kids so Im trying to find some families I can help here in Stillwater!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have worked at a church nursery for four years when I was in high school, I was head nursery attendant so I was in charge of the nursery by myself. Summer of 2020 I worked on a military base with their youth program, where I was cpr and first aid certified. Summer of 2021 I worked at a daycare in OKC called Goddards School where I was also cpr and first aid certified. At the daycare I worked with ages from new born, 2 year old class, and the school age kids! This past summer, 2022, I got the chance to go down to a church in Houston, called Impact Church of Christ where I worked with their middle school program all summer!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Is being able to connect with the child and being able to build a loving relationship with them. They need someone who shows them respect, is willing to listen, and be there for them. The children need someone who they can have fun with and feel safe with!

My experience with special needs children...

I had this kid with autism that was in my church nursery and I always made sure to bring sensory items that he could play with.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think my favorite memory was when I was babysitting these three siblings and one night I was tucking in the middle child. I was about to turn the lights off and leave when he said, "Ms. Cade I love you, goodnight." It just made my heart melt because the boys arent usually super sweet like that and it just made me feel like I was doing something right.
