Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
For several years, my husband and I had the privilege of fostering children, offering them a safe and nurturing home. We provided respite care for foster parents, stepping in to care for children during their appointments, vacations, or other commitments when bringing foster children along wasn’t possible. We lovingly cared for children ranging from 3 weeks old to middle school age, meeting each one’s unique needs. Through the same agency, we also welcomed a child into our family through adoption, a journey that has deeply enriched our lives.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I cherished taking my children on adventures to the park, OMSI, and the children’s museum, as well as leisurely walks where we’d explore together. At home, we dove into books, sparked our imaginations with make-believe games, hosted tea parties, and let our creativity run wild. We baked cookies, played outdoors, splashed in the pool, and hunted for special rocks to treasure.
