Hey! Nice to meet you, my name is Hannah. I have a 10 month old daughter who constantly keeps me on my toes and a wonderful husband who provides so I can be a stay at home mom. I was a live-in nanny during my teen years and love to do age-appropriate crafts, engage in and encourage outside play, and help the kiddos learn and navigate the world around them. My ideal employer would drop-off/pickup from my residence, have great communication in regards to expectations, boundaries, and safety measures, and develop a relationship based off trust. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a nanny/babysitter for a 7 year old child. It was a great learning experience and both the child and I had a blast. I spent the night 3 days out of the week, because I was needed in the morning to wake her up, guide her through the morning routine, make breakfast, supervise her zoom meetings (online school) and help with homework, cook food, and just hangout while the parents worked. We often engaged in board games, outdoor play (parks, bike riding, chalk), and honestly whatever random game we could contour up.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Is understanding that you’re temporarily taking place of the parents (in most cases), and that the child should be just as safe, content, and happy as if the parents were still there. As a first time baby mom, my fear with others is that she won’t get the same-level of care that I can provide and a cue will be missed. However, knowings this is a fear in not only myself but others. I make it a priority to study children’s behavior over time to ensure comfortability in unknown environments, to learn cues, and to provide the same level of care that my daughter gets.

My experience with special needs children...

Although, I have no experience with special needs children, I believe I have the patience and kind heart to not only work with them but help guide them and gain a relationship with them.
