I also really enjoy creative activities like arts and crafts, building things, and imaginative play. It’s so fun to see kids use their creativity and come up with their own ideas. I try to keep kids engaged in hands-on, interactive activities and encourage play that keeps them off screens while still having fun and learning.

The most important part of being a nanny is understanding each family’s unique needs and supporting them in whatever way I can. Every child is different, so I focus on creating a safe, comfortable, and positive environment where they feel supported and can be themselves. Building trust with both the child and the family is key, and I always strive to be reliable, caring, and attentive in everything I do.

One of my favorite moments has been coming back to the family I work with and hearing the little girl start to speak more—especially when she said my name for the first time. It was such a special and meaningful moment.
Another moment that meant a lot to me was when I left for college and they gave me a hug and asked when I would be back. It reminded me how strong those bonds can be.
