More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have a degree in Primary Education (years 5-11) which gave me extensive experience in teaching. I have been a babysitter since I was 15, been a swimming coach, worked the past two summers as a Camp Counsellor in the USA (my third summer is coming up, this time in Canada!) I also have worked in a daycare during the time I am not working internationally, which has given me experience working with children under school age (ages 1-3). I have completed two jobs as an international nanny in Jakarta, Indonesia and Rome, Italy.

Being a safe space secondary to the parents. Ensuring the children feel safe, happy and comfortable around me. Also being adaptable and flexible to the hosts families needs.

I have worked with children in schools and in the day care setting with Special Needs. Although my experience isn't extensive, it is substantial and my degree in Primary Education has given me a breadth of knowledge regarding children with special needs.
