I enjoy teaching, building blocks, laughing, singing songs, dancing, puppet play. I enjoy watching children grow and develop their gross and fine motor skills. Helping them to expand their vocabulary. I enjoy just having conversations with the little ones because some just blows my mind. I also enjoy floor play and tummy time with infants. Caring for children is a joy for me.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part about being a nanny starts with ensuring the safety of the child at all times. Making sure nothing harmful is in range or in reach. Make sure Emergency number are visible. Any allergic foods should be noted and visible. Child or children should be in eyesight al all times. It is important also to be able to identify and understand stages of child development so that the child(ren) may be introduced to the appropriate activities to help support their growth and development. Building a trusting relationship with the child where they can and will feel secure and free when laughing, crying, or throwing a fit☺️because they know they are care for and loved. And last but not least,, Communicating with parents about all needs, concerns, and progress.
My experience with special needs children...
I have taken care of two Autistic children in Daycare settings. Had to add a lot a patience, understanding, care, and love. Great experience for me.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite moment..While we doing an activity or playing, one of the tots would laugh loud and jolly which made me and other tots burst into laughter. Each time it brought laughter and joy to my heart. Still makes me smile out loud today☺️
