I temporarily did in-home caregiving for children with special needs. This included providing medication‘s, meals, exercise and activities, changing clothing and diapers, cleaning g-tubes and trach tubes, monitoring and recording health and status of the child, and spending time with each child.

While caring for my 3 younger siblings I always loved cooking with them and planning activities around the holidays. We would get together and I would supervise the cooking so we could make baked goods, decorate cookies, build gingerbread houses, etc. without any little hands being injured. I also organized/supervised sledding and other fun outdoor activities to make sure they had lots of fun. In truth, I loved spending time with them.
