When I was in high school still a junior I would babysit (and housesit) for a family friend. They moved away a couple of months ago. They were such great kids, there was never a dull moment while baby sitting/hanging out with them.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Drawing, going outside and playing, watching tv, cleaning up their messes together, honestly anything they want to do lol.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I think the most important part is making sure that the children feel safe and comfortable and are always having a good time. I also think a very important thing is teaching the children little things they should just know in life, like saying please and thank you. And just getting them into the habit of saying / doing the right thing.
My experience with special needs children...
In high school I was a TA for the extended resource kids and it was my favorite part of the day always. (I wasn’t a TA for to long, only about 2 semesters.) I did not change their diapers or take them to the restroom But they all became my good friends and I feel like I taught that class a lot.
