A little bit about me

Hello Potential Family,

i am a warm, experienced educator with more than 20 years of experience in art education, my work has included teaching in schools, fine art centers, Art Camps, my own after-school art business, and homeschool settings. Along the way, I also worked as a nanny while raising my daughter, giving me a firsthand understanding of balancing work, family, and the realities of single motherhood. A fine oil painting artist and former Girl Scout Troop Leader, I’ve always valued the connection that develops when children have the space to learn, create, and explore. I’m now looking to focus more directly on childcare, bringing creativity and experience into a child’s day through art, homework, conversation, or play. CPR and First Aid certified, I’m seeking a part-time after-school and evening position, ideally 25–30 hours per week.
