I nannied a 2 year old girl for a year while I was pregnant with my son & after I had him.
Recently babysat a 2.5 year old boy for about a year but very flexible, he would come 6-10 days out of the month from March 2025-March 2026.

They see what you do, how you act, how you respond, how you talk.. they look up to you and I think it’s so important to model a calm and loving presence but also hard working, strong and resilient characteristics. Raising kids takes a village and a nanny is 100% apart of that village.

When I was the nanny for the little girl, she was just so sweet and it was before becoming a mom. Every time she would wake up from her nap she would say “cuddles” and I would pick her up and just hold her until she was ready to fully get up and play and eat. It was so sweet and something I will forever cherish because it really taught me to be present and enjoy the small moments with kids. All they need is love
