More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have worked with children since 1992 in various capacities- nanny, preschool teacher, afterschool director, mother, homeschool teacher to my children, birth & postpartum doula, babycare educator, and breastfeeding educator.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Going on fieldtrips to the park/playground, library, zoo, and childrens museums. Art- painting, playdough, 3-D art projects. Science- simple experiments and exploring nature. Outdoors- walks/gentle hikes, pulling littles in a wagon or following while they tricycle ride, water/mud play, gardening, building forts.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I think the most important part of being a nanny is helping children thrive while being their authentic selves and exploring their natural talents/interests.
My experience with special needs children...
I have experience with children on the spectrum, including mild/moderate autism and ADHD. I also have worked with children with severe allergies.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite memories with my own children is we would host an art/play day at our house a few times a year. All their friends would come by and we would have tons of fun activities set up in our courtyard (legos, painting, bubbles, dance party). The children would snack and play for hours on end.

I love being a nanny because I am truly making a difference in the lives of my NannyFamily. I’m not just a clock-watcher, a time card-puncher, a faceless name at some big company. I matter. I am my charge’s everything while Mom and Dad are gone. And in ten years, after I’m no longer on their payroll, they’re still going to remember me and look back with fondness on our bond.

Hello! I am a nanny with 15+ years experience with kids ranging from infants to 5+.
This is my nanny philosophy:
When you come into someone’s home as their nanny, you are essentially becoming a member of their family. It is so important to bond with the family as a whole, and build that connection of trust. As your nanny, I will do whatever I can to make sure your kids feel loved, valued, respected, happy and safe. I realize that these are your children and they mean more than the world to you, so I want to care for them exactly the way you want them to be cared for. I also think that communication is very important - if there is something I’m doing that you want me to do differently, I will do my best to do it the way you prefer, no questions asked! I believe that as a nanny and parents, we are a team, and we are all working towards the same goal together; to help these kids be the best little people they can be! :)
