I also enjoy structured activities that build independence visual schedules, turn-taking games, and hands-on learning. The best activities are the ones that meet children where they are and help them feel successful, calm, and confident.

is building a safe, loving, and trusting relationship with the child. Everything else teaching, routines, discipline works best when a child feels secure and cared for.

My experience with special needs children...

In my daily life experience with special needs children, the most meaningful moments are the everyday breakthroughs when a child who struggles with autism, ADHD, ODD, or sensory challenges successfully regulates their emotions, communicates their needs, or navigates a transition with confidence.

Because I live this both personally and professionally, I understand that progress isn’t always loud or obvious. It’s the small wins using coping skills, making eye contact, following a routine, or recovering from a tough moment that truly matter. Those moments reflect trust, patience, and consistent support, and they mean everything.

are the small, heartfelt ones like when a child runs to hug you after a hard day, or proudly says, “Look what I did!” and you see their confidence growing. Those little milestones and quiet bonding moments are truly special.
