My name is Adelaide (or Addie). I graduated in June from PSU double majoring in Psychology and Film Production and I have over 10 years of experience working with children and babies including two years of teaching and after school programs, several years nannying, and several years providing occasional family support/curated care. Originally I babysat once or twice a month and it turned into something which supported me through university! I love being around children, watching them grow and aiding their development. That was a huge factor in deciding to study Psychology!
My approach to childcare has always been rooted in prioritizing the specific requests of the parents I work with. I emphasize gentle, age-appropriate learning and activities, focused on the behavioral, emotional, and physical well-being of the child.
I now live in Lincoln City and am trying to build a network of families I can work with here as I’m sadly leaving behind my network in Portland.
