My name is Isabel & I am a professional opera singer! As a musician, I have been fortunate to work with many children through music education & community outreach. A former middle school & high school music teacher & dorm parent of the Hun School of Princeton, I have wonderful experience living with young people & helping them navigate through their adolescence. In the classroom, my students were always mindful of my expectations & I fostered an environment of mutual respect and engagement through a varied utilization of technology, excursions, activities, & games. Through music, I also am honored to have worked with children with special needs through a community music program called Rock Out Loud. With my experience as an educator but also an artist, I am confident in my ability to create a structured & nurturing environment for your child but to have fun & meaningful experiences while doing so! More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I am a former music educator for middle school and high school age children as well as currently maintain a private music lesson studio. In my capacity as a music teacher, I was also a dorm parent responsible for 50 high school girls. In addition, I worked as an assistant director for a musical theatre camp in NJ for 6 summers where I cultivated vocal performance skills as well as maintained a safe learning environment for elementary and middle school students.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love fostering creative and exploratory environments for children. Fun activities include disney sing-a-longs, nature adventures, karaoke battles, instrument exploration, experiments in the kitchen, dance parties, reading books out loud with silly voices, and so many more!
