making sure the kid knows they are loved and they feel safe and comfortable with me. Also making sure the parents are reassured and also feel comfortable leaving their child with me.
My experience with special needs children...
Great! I work with a family two kids 1 is special needs and another isn't we find a very good balance and get along/ set good boundaries I find that I actually might work better with kids on the spectrum.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Watching the kiddo grow up, and showing them new things. I love to fish and showing kids how to fish is one of my favorite things!
