More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I’ve cared for children when I worked at the YMCA. I started as a Volunteer, where I taught children pool safety and etiquette. I also taught children how to swim different strokes, such as butterfly, freestyle, backstroke, and breaststroke. Eventually I got certified in CPR and first aid, I became a lifeguard, and continued to work in childcare during summer camps. I used CPR and first aid when necessary.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I really enjoy doing creative and engaging activities with kids. Some of my favorites are arts and crafts projects, reading storybooks together, playing fun learning games, and spending time outside whether it’s going for a walk, playing at the park, or doing sidewalk chalk. I love seeing kids express themselves, use their imagination, and learn through play.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I believe the most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and consistent environment where the child feels secure and supported. Children grow best when they feel cared for and understood, so building trust both with the child and the parents is key. Being dependable, patient, and genuinely engaged helps me not only meet their daily needs but also support their emotional and developmental growth.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was helping a little girl I watched learn how to swim her first 100IM. We had been practicing together every day, Practicing little bits at a time, and one day it all just clicked for her. She was so proud of herself, and seeing her confidence grow in that moment made me so happy. Moments like that really remind me why I love working with kids it’s amazing to watch them learn and grow.
