Hi! I am Isabelle, 24 years old and from Brazil! I'm a very patient, responsible and open minded person who loves to try new things and learn. I've always loved children since I was one myself, taking care of the youngest around me. I started taking care of kids in 2018 and I have experience with all different ages, from 6 months old to 9 years old. I have First Aid and CPR certification and I took lessons about food safety, child behavior management, entertainment and kids activities, child safety, among others. I have a Psychology background college in Brazil, which made me work at a school doing activities with 12yo children. I believe kids are a good way to make us look into ourselves and learn. We're pushed to be more creative, patient, loving and understanding. We become better listeners and have the opportunity to watch our own behavior and reactions. It's very rewarding to know I am part of the process of a kid's growth, specially knowing that I am qualified and do a great job!

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

When I was younger I worked as a ballet assistant and part of my job was to rehearse presentations with the kids or lead the dance class myself. A while after that time I started the nanny work taking care of kids when I was 19 and it has been like that since then. In 2022 I worked for 6 months at a school with kids around 12 years old as part of my Psychology internship. Apart of that, since 2018 I've been taking care of kids different ages (from 6 months old to 9 years old).

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love baking, dancing, playing imaginative games, going to parks and playground, reading, play puzzles and blocks. I also like activities that make the child learn some skills either physical like motor skills, emotional like identifying the emotions or educational like working on the colors or the alphabet.

Being able to help a child evolving and create a genuine bond with them!

When I told my 3yo kid how to say "I love you" in Portuguese, only one time and after a few weeks when he was helping me with the dishes he said in Portuguese "I love you" to me when I was not even expecting him to remember that. It was very sweet!
