The most important part about being a nanny is creating a safe, supportive environment where kids feel understood and cared for. When children feel secure, they can explore, learn, and grow with confidence.
My experience with special needs children...
I grew up attending the Buckley School in New York City, later graduated from Trinity-Pawling, and now study at Bucknell University. Having ADHD myself has helped me become especially patient, understanding, and great at connecting with kids who have lots of energy or need a little extra support staying engaged. I know how to turn structure, movement, and creativity into strengths, and I bring that mindset into childcare.
My background in boarding school and now college has made me independent, responsible, and confident in managing routines, communicating clearly, and creating a positive environment. I genuinely enjoy helping kids feel understood, active, and supported, because I know firsthand how much the right guidance can matter.
