A little bit about us

Looking for a nanny starting in September!

Full-Time, 40 hours, Monday to Friday with a morning start. Flexible on the exact schedule and willing to settle on something that works for both of us. $32 to $38 per hour, depending on experience

Responsibilities: Provide warm, attentive care and engage baby in age-appropriate play and developmental activities. Handle diaper changes and log feeds, diapers, and sleep for handoff. Bathe baby as needed. Prepare bottles and, once solids are introduced, simple and nutritious meals. Wash bottles and handle all feeding-related cleanup. Take baby on outings — walks, park visits, classes, and play dates. Sanitize toys and keep baby gear clean and well-stocked. Keep the nursery, play areas, and supplies tidy and organized. Put away clean laundry. Light household chores as needed (not deep cleaning) — e.g. taking out trash, collecting packages from the doorman, wiping down surfaces, and general organizing.

Age of Child: newborn (she will be 1 month old in Sept)

Requirements: Prior newborn / infant experience required — please provide a few references from families you’ve previously worked with. We ask that you be up to date on child and baby CPR / first aid + all routine and relevant vaccinations. Must be dog-friendly. We also place a lot of value on communication, punctuality, and reliability + would love a nanny who can stay with us long-term as the baby grows.

A little bit about us

Hi! We’re the McMurry family and we’re looking for a kind, reliable babysitter to help with occasional after-school care for our two kids: a sweet 1 yo baby boy and our fun-loving, goofy 5-year-old daughter.

This is an occasional role that is later in the evening to come to our home at 6pm and stay until 10pm. You will help with dinner, bath and bed time.

We’re hoping to find someone caring, responsible, and playful who enjoys being around kids. Our kids have a routine and understand the rules. Students are very welcome to apply!

If this sounds like a good fit, we’d love to hear from you.
