In high school, I was a nanny for four children. All different age ranges with one being diagnosed with autism and severe ADHD.
The last four years I’ve been working at Camp Letts as a camp counselor, behavioral coordinator and head counselor.
Last winter, I got the awesome opportunity to be a swim instructor for six-year-olds and had a blast!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love dancing. I am a dancing queen. I’ve been dancing for 20 years 16 of them competitively. I tore my ACL on my freshman year of college so I haven’t been able to do real dancing, but I love jumping up and down with my kids.
I’m extremely into nature (bugs.. more importantly!) I have a whole bunch of pictures of a bunch of different creatures I found outside! I am a strong believer of look do not touch!

My experience with special needs children...
The last four years during the school year I have gotten the chance to work with Summit travel. This is a weekend or camp that special needs children get to go on. We go places like Hersheypark, Great Wolf Lodge, or fun campgrounds. While we were out in public, we work on social skills and just working through the crowds.
