My name is Jada, I’ve been in the childcare industry for about 4 years now. I started at 15 helping my neighbor with her daycare business working with kids from the ages of 6 months to 13 year olds. The past 4 years I was working in preschools dealing with the infants and toddlers. I assisted with changing dippers, nap time, feeding them, reading books to them teaching them their shapes and colors and animals, I would also assist the main teacher by leading circle time in the morning, I also cleaned the classroom everyday at the end of my shift.

My experience with special needs children...

I worked with special needs children while working at The learning experience daycare. At first it was a new experience I didn’t really know proper ways with dealing with special needs children but the more I worked with them the more I was able to learn and understand about them that other teachers couldn’t. I was the main teacher they would bring the special needs children too when they needed assistance because I worked best with them when their therapist wasn’t there.
