More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

Line Therapist at Agapi Behavioral Consultants (experience in ABA therapy , motor development, social learning, etc.)
Supervisor at Boys & Girls Club Summer Program (experience in education enrichment, moral development, etc.)
Tutored college students at USC-Beaufort in subjects : Psychology & Sociology.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Coloring , puzzles, drawing , singing , dancing , building and crafting , hide and seek, educational games, imagination support games , outdoor play such as playgrounds , ball games, etc.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Being attentive and leading by example . Respecting the child’s uniqueness and originality and understanding accountability on behalf of the adult or authority figure as well . Children should be respected even in discipline.

My experience with special needs children...

Autism. Motor development. Socially “awkward” kids. Behavioral impairments. Etc.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I had an autistic kid who was intellectually advanced at only 10 years old and had challenges with tethering his intellectual capacity to those who weren’t as advanced yet of his age . He love to write books (volumes ) draw maps, etc. I encouraged him to create his own illustrations with my assistance in guiding his story and merging it with this visual imagination to create an amazing illustration for a beautiful tale of friendship . Two friends who were constantly bickering with one another , magically gets their hair tied together and could only be granted separation once they learned to get alone and love each other fairly . After the bickering and complaining , the two friends grown closer and once the magician appeared to grant them the separation their hair , the pair grew so close that they didn’t even want to be separated and they became the best friends ever . Cool kid . 😊
