Hi I’m Jade, a compassionate and dedicated South African nanny with a heartwarming commitment to brightening the lives of children. From 2014 to 2018, every December, I volunteered at an orphanage in my hometown, spreading Christmas cheer and love to the little ones in need. At just 19 years old, in 2019, I embarked on an exciting journey to the United States, driven by my desire to make a positive impact on the lives of children abroad and the hunger to travel. I first became an Au pair in Colorado, where I showered two young children with affection and care, creating an environment filled with laughter and joy. My passion for witnessing the sparkle in kids' eyes and the sound of their giggles fueled my determination to continue my journey. In 2021, I moved to Charlotte, ready to embrace new challenge of taking care of 3 boys, spreading my boundless love and infectious positivity to the children under my care. I have unwavering dedication and love for children making me a great fit.

More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I volunteered at an orphanage every November to late December from the years 2014 to 2018. The age range for the kids were as young as newborns to 12 year olds. In 2019 I moved to the US to become an Au pair where I cared for a 7 and 12 year old girls for two years in Colorado. In 2021 I moved to Charlotte to care for 3 boys ages 2, 5 and 9. I stayed with the family for a year as well.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy swimming with the kids. I enjoy playing soccer and playing catch (even tho my aim sucks lol). I am a foodie so being in the kitchen and watching the kids admire my food creations warms my heart. And I love teaching them how to bake. Arts and crafts with the kids is always a blast it’s fun and really relaxing for me and the kids. Seeing a kid make a cute “focus face” is quite the smile cracker.

The most important part about being a nanny...

After all my work is done. Leaving the kids with life lessons. With the ability to have made a mark in their life. And making them feel safe. If they’re young they may not remember me in years to come but, the values and lessons I might teach them would live forever - in their subconscious mind.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Ha! I have so many. The most recent on is when I got my little kiddo dressed in his rain boots and rain coat and we played in the rain. Jumping in puddles and creating a core memory. It brought my inner child out.
