The most important part about being a nanny...
Making sure the kids are having fun, but in a safe environment and on a regular schedule. Kids should be allowed to be kids and have fun, but an nanny/babysitter needs to make sure that they're also safe, fed, bathed and in bed at a decent time so that the parents don't have an extra workload when they get home from working all day.
