To me, the most important part of being a nanny is being a 'Safe Harbor' for children. My goal is to ensure that while parents are away, their children are not only protected by a professional with lifeguard-level vigilance but are also encouraged to grow through the eyes of an educator.

One summer, I was watching a toddler who was terrified of getting their face wet. Using my lifeguard training and a lot of patience, we turned 'bubbles' into a game. By the end of the week, they were blowing bubbles underwater and didn't want to leave the pool. Building that confidence in the water was so rewarding."
