Relevant experience where I also cared for children includes my role as a Summer Camp Counselor for the City of Denton, where I created a safe, fun, and supportive environment by leading group activities, assisting with daily care, and ensuring each child felt included and encouraged. I’ve also volunteered at Stephens Elementary School for multiple of their school events, and supported children through roles at the Jewish Community Center in Dallas and Artisan Theater in Hurst, where I helped with youth programs and provided assistance behind the scenes. These experiences have strengthened my ability to connect with children, adapt to their needs, and create positive, engaging spaces for them to grow.

Activities I enjoy doing with children include a mix of indoor and outdoor games that are fun and engaging for all ages many of which I’ve collected from my time as a Summer Camp Counselor. Whether it’s active group games or quieter creative time, I love tailoring activities to each child’s interests. I’m especially creative and enjoy making crafts, drawing, and encouraging artistic expression for kids who prefer hands-on, imaginative play.

The most important thing about being a nanny is building trust and creating a space where kids feel safe, supported, and free to be themselves. It’s not just about supervising it’s about being present, engaging with them on their level, and showing up with patience, kindness, and genuine care. I believe kids thrive when they feel seen and valued, and that’s what I aim to bring to every family I work with.

My favorite nanny moment is simply getting to play alongside the kids. I loved being part of the fun whether it was running around outside, joining in games, or making crafts. Kids light up when you’re present and playful with them, and I enjoy being someone they can laugh with and feel comfortable around.
