Hello, I'm Jalese, I'm 16, looking for a full-time or part-time job that works with my highschool sophomore schedule which frees me up at 3:00pm every weekday and all day every weekend. I can work with pets and I know how to cook as well as I can babysit overnight if need be. I'm told I'm good with kids and I've 3 years experience babysitting babies and toddlers. The most important part about being a nanny...

Is caring for the children. Make sure the child is okay at all times. More than that, make sure you do your best to help the parent looking for a babysitter. Don't judge them and don't give them opinions like "I think you should take care of your own kid". They ask for your help and hope for it to be a judgement-free zone. Do your best to make that job easier for them because most of them are out at work, getting money to provide for their children and the fact that they care enough to hire a responsible person to babysit their child means they're excellent parents

My experience with special needs children...

I've cared for and had peers with down syndrome, autism, and who've been considered clinically challenged. I don't judge them, they're people like us and if it's brought up around me, I will stand up for the child if something negative regarding special needs is used to criticize or make fun of the parents or the child. I also have patience and won't get aggravated with children simply because they are in need of a little more attention, care, and time.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I was babysitting 4 toddlers and one baby last year on the 4th of July. All day that day, we were saying "fireworks" and we all sat on the ground looking at the fireworks go off and Kayla, the baby girl, pointed up and tried to say firework and so we lit a pink gender reveal firework for her
